So why doesn't it surprise me that Darren Rowse at ProBlogger has launched its own blogger for hire job board? It looks like the concept is very popular. Only few days ago Performancing.com has launched their own job board "Performancing Exchange".
There is one major difference though. Posting on ProBlogger's job board will cost you $50/month (and that's before it jumps to $100 'regular' price). Performancing Exchange so far is free. Is there enough of a blogger-for-hire market for 2 (or more) independent job boards to thrive? That's my only regret about seeing more and more of these "Me Too" marketplaces popping up. I really wanted to see if an idea like this could work over time but that will be difficult to judge if the experiment is diluted with too many samples cannibalizing each other. Same goes for those so-called Web 2.0 job boards like 37signals job board or CrunchBoard, a job board powered by the might TechCrunch.
